School Sport WA COVID-19 UPDATE – Interstate Trials

School Sport WA has made the decision to suspend all Interstate Trials for upcoming School Sport Australia Championships until further notice.

School Sport Australia is meeting early next week to consider whether the remainder of the 2020 Championships will continue or be cancelled.

SSWA will update all on this situation once more information is provided by School Sport Australia and the Education Department.

All students who have nominated to trial for sports with Selection Trials scheduled for over the next few weeks will be contacted by email.

We appreciate that students and officials will be disappointed, as we are. However, the long term health and welfare of everyone in the community in relation to minimising the spread of COVID-19, must be the highest priority.
