AFL 15s Girls Squad announcement

Thank you to all of the girls who have been involved in our Program this year. Condensing our squad has been very difficult and there are some talented footballers that will not be continuing in our program. The session on Monday was again of a high standard and the energy in the group was positive for the whole two hours. Regardless of whether you are continuing with our 2019 squad or not, you should be very proud to have got this far. Having 180+ players start in our Program was amazing, however it does mean that there are going to be some disappointed girls who will not be continuing with our Program in 2019. For those girls who have missed out, commiserations. You are clearly a talented footballer and we wish you well with your football this year and into the future. If you are eligible to come back to our 15s Program next year, we look forward to seeing you in 2020. If you would like some feedback on your performance, please feel free to email Oliver ([email protected]). He will get back to you via email, however please be aware that it will not be instantaneous. He will return your email.

Congratulations to the following students who have made it through to the final selection stage for the WA State 15s Female AFL team. After Monday’s training session, you will be notified as to whether you have been selected in our Travelling Squad of 24 or our Development Squad.

Our next training session will be held at All Saints’ College, on Monday 13 May (4pm till 6pm). All girls mentioned below are expected to attend, however if you cannot make the session, please contact the Head Coach, Mr Oliver Beath on [email protected] ASAP. Could those players who may have already let us know about possible absences send another reminder email.
