Triathlon Results

WA’s best junior triathletes have put on a show for Hervey Bay locals competing in the 2016 School Sport Australia Triathlon National Championships.

 

Western Australian triathlete Luke Bate put up a remarkable performance in the school sport senior boys triathlon crossing the line with a time of 59:12.

12993595_601752299978264_8883845620683444556_nIt was a close race in the senior girls triathlon with Western Australian Jessica Claxton clocking in at 1.06.40

New South Wales triathlete Emily Jamgotchian claimed first place in the intermediate girls race with a time of 53:37. Second place was fought out between Western Australia and Queensland with Caitlin Knight (WA) and Sam Whitting both clocking in at 53:59 taking equal second place.

Queensland also claimed first place in the junior girls race with Richelle Hill crossing the line at 40:31. Victorian triathlete Brooke McCullough followed in second place (40:42) with Western Australian Taylor Kroyer claiming third with a time of 41:34.
