Run the event in Week 7 of Term 2 (8-15 June) EXTENDED until COB Wednesday 17 June |
Where? |
School sites, open recreation reserves, a treadmill – wherever your imagination takes you! |
How? |
Run the event as a class, as a group at lunch time or before or after school
Run individually or with a friend and have someone present who can verify your time and distance. |

| state team selection races | These events will also be used as the SSWA State Team trial. State coaches/managers will be in attendance at the event to monitor the age divisions and address prospective team members. The 10yrs and 11yrs races are ONLY selection trials. Winners will not be awarded prizes.
All students who nominate as individuals will be considered for state selection unless SSWA is notified otherwise. Students in school teams wishing to be considered for State Team Selection must nominate for the interstate team on the Cross Country interstate page

| entry rules | Teams can consist of 3 to 10 competitors for each category. However, the first 3 team members to complete the race will be the recognised school team and will be eligible to score points for their school. To qualify for the title of overall Champion School, teams must be entered in all age categories, male and female. |

| How to Nominate | Schools are able to nominate both teams and individuals , however only nominated teams are eligible to score points for the Champion School Award. See directly below for steps and details under “Nominating Schools”.
Individuals or parents are able to nominate providing the school Principal is aware of their entry. Follow the steps and details found under “Individual Nominations” below. |

| Step ONE | Schools Nominate on the form titled “School Nomination” found below these instructions by Friday 8 May 2020.
Complete all details on the form and press SUBMIT at the bottom of the page. A copy must be kept for your records or to present to your school Principal if required. |
| Step TWO | All nominating schools must submit a School Team List name submission sheet whether they are nominating an individual or a team of 30.
Click on the following link ‘School Team List – Template‘ and you will view an Excel spreadsheet. Save this document to your computer. Type in your name lists in the required cells and save. Email this document to [email protected] by Wednesday 13 May 2020. Please Note: Race Numbers will be published on the website by 5pm Monday 18 May 2020. Schools will need to collect the race bibs on the day prior to 9.30am from the registration desk. |
| Changes / Additions | If you have changes or additions simply email the School Sport WA office to inform them of any alterations.
Schools must not make any competitor number changes as this WILL affect the computerised results system. |
